What is 4G Broadband? 4G is the name given to signals transmitted by mobile networks over phone masts which are connected to the Internet. These are the signals used by today's smartphones to give you Internet access on your mobile phone when you're on the move, but 4G isn't just for smartphones. It can also offer one of the best broadband solutions especially for the more remote and rural properties, even where mobile reception is poor. We utilise this type of signal using the latest products and technology to give our customers a super fast internet connection. Whats the difference from what i'm currently using? Well, as mentioned above, our 4g systems use the local mobile mast that provide internet connectivity to nearby 4G enabled devices. This means we don't need to rely on cables or fibre, and as many of us know, in the more rural areas the cabling unfortunately can be very slow and unreliable. Does it actually work? Is it reliable? Yes, it does work. Now obviously like any type of signalling it works better in some areas than others but this is why we carry out site surveys. On our site surveys we carry out a series of small tests to check the nearby cell tower distances, which network would be best and finally what speeds we think you will receive once the installation is complete. Once completed we have found that 4G is a very reliable source of internet. We've carried out many installations across the South E ast area in some of the most rural areas which are all working perfectly. For peace of mind we offer warranties with our work and packages for ongoing system maintenance. Am I eligible? Everyone is eligible for this type of system not just those living in remote locations. Yes we promote that it works better in rural areas but it also works very well in all locations. We've fitted systems in more populated areas that still suffer from bad broadband speeds, in some examples taking the speeds from around 0.5 - 9Mbs to 40, 60+Mbs! Which i'm sure you can agree is a massive improvement. We are currently for a limited time offering a FREE site survey to new customers. For more information you can get in contact us via phone, E-mail or our Website enquiry service 01322784129 07508864104 office@orfdigitaluk.com Not sure what internet speeds you're currently getting? why not use our Free speed checker here below.

Hi there, here’s a feature on one of our recent projects we’ve been working on, it's based at a large site in Dartford Kent. We were called out to the site because the Communal TV Aerial & Satellite System was having issues across the site. Upon investigation we found that the system was run over fibre optic cabling & distributed over multiple series of splitters. This style of system is known as FIRS (Fibre Intergrageted Rception System) Or Fibre IRS. We found that there were many issues across site and due to it's size we would need to carry out a full site survey, allowing us to trace cabling, test signals and find all problems. Once completed we gave a full report with the issues across site and how we would find a solution.
